On the Road Again

We headed out on May 13, 2015 for another season of travels.  We were going to stop in Tucson the first night out but we got there just after noon and Ed didn't want to stop yet so on we went all the way to Deming, NM.    Since we got there around 5pm, we decided to stay 2 days so we could visit St. Clair Winery to taste and buy some great wine. We are now 1 case of win heavier in the RV.  We also had dinner at our favorite place in Deming, Campos...a little out of the way place with yummy Mex food.
The traveling east was easy until we got past Kerrville, TX when we ran into rain.  It poured as we traveled thru Houston and with the terrible traffic in that area, we were never so glad to get on the east side of Houston.  It has been raining on and off of us ever since with the humidity anywhere 70-100%.  Welcome to the south!!!
On the way east we stopped in Slidell, LA at the ELK's lodge.  If you have never stayed there, you are missing a beautiful place.

While in Slidell, we picked up 20 lbs of Crawfish to take to Brad in GA.  Live crawfish in the shower made the next leg of the trip quick!  Off to Bremen, GA to Yogi Bear Yellowstone RV Park where we stayed a week while visiting the family.  Sorry, I took pics with the smartphone and don't know how to transfer those pic into the blog.
After leaving Yogi, we headed to Savannah.  We too the trolly tour yesterday and saw Old Town.  Had an enjoyable day with yummy fish fry and margaritas for lunch.
Tomorrow, we head north to Charleston, NC.
