House on the Rock

We had to make a trip to Dodgeville, WI to see the House on the Rock. The original house was built in the 40's and has been added on to ever since. It is a huge complex of rooms that are filled with some of the world's most unique and eclectic collections. We saw antiques, dolls, doll houses, pipe organs, animated and automated music machines, a fantastic collection of miniature circuses, oriental collections, weapons collections, suits of armor collections, a hugh carousel, and the list goes on and on. If you are passing through Wicsonsin, this is a must see. The picture above is of the Infinity Room. This "room" projects out over the valley 218 feet and contains 3,264 windows.
