Yellowstone

Well, we made it to Yellowstone today. The weather has warmed up just a little..it was in the 50's. We had a sunny day and no snow! There is still quite a bit of snow in the passes and on the mountains, but we had no problems checking out the sights. We did the northern loop this time. We saw the upper and lower Yellowstone falls. The falls in the picture is the lower falls. We saw a lot of elk, and male buffalo...but no female buffalo. We only saw 1 moose, just as we were leaving the park. We saw more animals this time than the last time we were here in 2002. We checked out the mud volcanoes and saw a lot of hot springs and hot spring terraces. We didn't get to Old Faithful since that is in the south end of the park and there just wasn't time to see it today. There is just no way you can see everything in the place in one day. This park sure is beautiful. Life is Good!
