Glacier National Park

Hi. Today we traveled through Glacier National Park. There were thunderstorms this morning. We decided to brave the trip anyway and the weather turned out great. We had sun most of the day. The temp. averaged from the low 70'2 at higher elev. to the mid 80's below. We only saw 1 glacier since most can only be seen by hiking in the back country and, well, we don't do that anymore. They say that Glacier is home to about 300 grizzlies, 500-700 black bears and 10-15 wolves and mountain lions. I don't think I would want to go hiking in these hills! The views were awesome on the Going-to-the-sun Road. We had to stop at almost every spot we could pull over to take pictures. The traffic wasn't too bad, but there were spots that we couldn't pull over since the spots were full and we missed a couple of nice photo-ops. Oh well, I took 89 pics as it was. Life is good. Wish you were here! Hugs, Sandy, Ed & Max
