March I helped with the Woodcarvers BOF rally at North Ranch.  I spent the week working on a couple of woorburning projects.  Here is my favorite one.

January 2012 we spent 3 weeks camped in the desert at Quartzsite.  We helped Denny and Susie Orr with the SKP Happy Hour, then worked at the Escapee booth at the RV tent.  We enjoyed all the socializing and the beautiful weather.  As you can see by the shirt sleeves, we had warm weather in the middle of January.  Things get crazy when a bunch of SKP's get together.    weeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Cody 3 yrs later

Since the last picture I posted back in 2009 was a picture of puppy Cody...here he is at 3yrs old.  He is a super little dog...NOTHING like Max.  So gentle and sweet.  He likes to play, take walks and is very friendly.

We started 2012 at the Rose Parade.  We were the host for the Escapees HOP program.  This was the second year that we hosted the Rose Parade and we had a fantastic time.  Nothing like seeing the parade in person.  The weather was great, as usual for sunny CA and everyone who attended had a great time.

Ok.....having trouble posting pictures. Will keep trying.

We're BACK

Well, it has been a few years since I posted to the blog.  Decided it was time I started doing it again, since we have been on the road since 4/2012 and except for a couple of weeks in Sept, we will be out until the end of December.  We have had a lot of fun this summer and I will post a few pictures of our summer adventures.  We left North Ranch a couple days before Easter and headed to CA to the 1st WARE (Western Area Rally of Escapees) rally in Lodi, CA.  Had fun seeing lots of old friends...headed to Manteca, CA after the rally to visit friends and children.  When we left Manteca, we headed east to Montrose, CO to VCR a chapter 2 rally.   Again, we had fun.  We stayed in Montrose through Memorial Day before heading to Hatch, UT to scout out trails for the Escapees outdoor Adventure we hosted over the 4th of July.  We had a great time and I will post pictures of this adventure.  When we left Hatch  on the 9th of July, we headed up to Moab, UT to do more four wheeling in the jeep...We stayed a couple of weeks in Hot Moab before heading south again...back to Hatch, then to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.  Leaving that area, we headed for Show Low, AZ to see what that area was like.  Stayed a couple of weeks with Steve and Lila before slowing heading back to North Ranch.  Tomorrow we will be back at North Ranch for a few weeks before heading to Fernley, NV to work for Amazon until just before Christmas.   So you see, we have had a full summer.
