Ground Owls

I took this picture of a ground owl. Very interesting birds. Their homes are in burrows in the ground. They are only about 8-9" tall and at the right time of day you can see a lot of them on the ground next to the race track at the San Joaquin Fairgrounds in Stockton, CA.

The "Row" Spring Escapade 2007

We just finished our volunteer job at the Spring Escapade as Assistant Row directors. We had fun working with all the people from the different chapters and Certified BOF's. This year we had 40 Chapters and C-BOF's represented. Part of our job was parking all the RV's in the small space allotted us. We also helped host a dinner for all the couples. Ed was the MC for the Ham-a-rama on Wednesday evening. I didn't get a picture of him on stage! Oh Well. He did have fun haming it up. LOL

Arizona cactus

We left Arizona and headed to CA April 5. Next year I hope we stay in Arizona a little longer since the cactus were just starting to bloom. They sure are pretty!

SKP Ch 44 rally in Mesa, AZ

We attended the Alberta Roamers Ch 44 rally in Mesa, AZ the middle of March 2007. We had a great time. Several of their members are talented and we had entertainment every evening at sunset. WOW with those beautiful Arizona sunsets and great music...we had FUN!!
