"Oh Bliss" This is what took so long at Guaranty RV. We moved from Camp Monaco to Guaranty on July 5 for warranty work on the paint. Since we were going to be there we contracted for them to fix the scratches on the side of the MH and to put this graphix on the back. They messed up the first try and tried to fix it twice, then took it all off and started over. "Oh Bliss(Blue Light Internet Satalite Special)" We had a problem with the big slide that Monaco fixed yesterday and we should be on the road today or tomorrow. Oregon is beautiful and this area is very nice, but we are ready to travel again. Life is Good. God Bless America. Posted by Picasa

New ride for the bikes...now we will have them when we go into the national parks and we will be able to ride the bike trails. Posted by Picasa

We moved to Guaranty RV to have some warranty paint work done on the MH. While we are here we decided to have some scratches fixed and to have a graphic painted on the back. Well, we moved over here on July 5th & we're still here. They worked on the warranty work last week for 2 days, then did nothing for 4 days. Then they started work on the other work Monday of this week. They messed up the graphic and we won't accept it, so, here we sit for the next 3 days 'till they start again on the graphics next Monday. I took a picture of our view, the Junction City water tower, that we have had for the past 2 weeks. Maybe we will be on the road by the middle of next week...we hope! Life is good! Even sitting here in Junction City, OR. Hugs, Sandy & Ed Posted by Picasa

Happy 4th of July

Hi. We took a small trip today to visit half of the 20 covered bridges here in Lane County, Oregon. Five of the 10 we visited were still is use for vehicle traffic. I posted pictures of 4 that we saw... the 3 oldest and the longest. Six of the bridges are within a few miles of Cottage Grove, OR and the other four are close to Lowell, Or. We had fun, but I don't think we will take the time or effort to visit the other 70+ covered bridges in the State. Tomorrow we will be having a potluck with the people still in residence here at Camp Monaco and hopefully be able to see the fireworks from Harrisburg. Have a safe 4th of July. Hugs, Sandy & Ed

Lowell Covered Bridge, 165 feet long, built 1945, Not is use for traffic...only used for fishing. They built the the dam (in the background) and another on futher down the line and created a couple of lakes on the Willamette. This bridge is in Lowell, Oregon. Posted by Picasa

Parvin Covered Bridge, 75 feet long, built in 1921 and still in use today. Posted by Picasa

Chambers Railroad Bridge, 78 feet long, built in 1925, crosses the Coast Fork of the WIllamette river in Cottage Grove, OR. NOT in use as you can see!  Posted by Picasa

Mosby Creek Bridge, the oldest bridge that we saw today, 90 feet long, built in 1920 and still in use. Posted by Picasa

This is Camp Monaco. As you can see we had a nice area to park. There is a grass seed field in back at the right of the picture. We were told that they grow more grass seed in this county than anywhere else in the USA. Posted by Picasa

There are quite a few Killdeer Plovers around "Camp Monaco" This one was sitting on a nest with 4 eggs.  Posted by Picasa
